Nothing here is meant to be a final answer. Most of it is the opposite: a starting point, a thread worth pulling, a question that keeps coming back.

There's a difference between not having the answer and not wanting to look for one. I'd rather admit what I don't know, ask better questions, and figure it out with somebody else.
