I’m Gary Griggers, a consultant and United States Marine Corps veteran based in Andalusia, Alabama. I work directly with clients on defined projects across the Southeast.

My work has included garment factory planning and setup, gallery media systems, public exhibits and events, and military safety instruction. Those assignments required coordinating people, procedures, equipment, and decisions.
For each consulting assignment, I start with the issue and the result you need. The scope names what I’ll deliver and when—whether that is a documented workflow, an implementation plan, training, or support through rollout.
United States Marine Corps
CBRN defense and HAZMAT training.
I served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Specialist (CBRN Defense). I taught classroom instruction and hands-on training, and led mask-confidence exercises, including chamber operations.
For the chamber exercise I ran, crystalline capsaicin was heated and dispersed into the air as an irritant. The exercise let Marines experience the challenge of wearing protective masks in a controlled training setting and build confidence in their equipment and procedures.
I also completed the Marine Corps Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Technician & Instructor course. Technician-level training was the highest qualification in the Marine Corps HAZMAT responder progression. The work trained responders to assess a hazardous-materials incident, protect people, control or mitigate the hazard, support decontamination, and brief incident leadership.
